Summary of Position:
Supervises the overall warehouse operations and nightly activities of staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Oversees inventory levels
•Monitors the safety of goods and ensures efficient usage of warehouse space
•Ensures that the correct product and counts are accurate
•Meet companywide goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff
•Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
•Sell to prospective customers using either pre-established leads or leads self-sourced by incumbents
•Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
•Sell, service, and promote Midwest Hose product line to external customers
•Collaborating to improve plant productivity and increase efficiency
•Maintain outstanding store condition and visual standards
•Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
•Maintain issues that arise from staff or customers
•Provide on-the-ground support for sales
•Provide report of sales data to superiors
•Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment
•Maintain professionalism in the work place
•Perform any other assigned proprietary duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Ability to effectively manage a team and processes
•Experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Critical thinking and reasoning to provide customer support and satisfaction
•Solid computer skills such as typing and navigation through various computer programs including MS Outlook, Excel, and Windows
•Must be able to type at least 50 WPM
•Ability to retain product knowledge
•Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
•Good organization skills
•Ability to prioritize and manage time
Physical Demands:
•Assist in lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 70 lbs. in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety Standards; receiving unloads up to 100%; order pulling up to 100%
•Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes
•Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received daily
Education and Experience:
•High School diploma or GED (required)
•Prior supervisor experience (required)
•Prior hose experience (highly preferred but not required)
Pay Range:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
Shift Hours:
9:00PM - 6:00AM
