POSITION PURPOSE: Direct all functions of the Maintenance Departments in Walbridge including maintenance personnel, planning equipment modifications, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, providing facilities services, and maintenance of all manufacturing and general office facilities.
Responsible for the safety and general welfare of employees and/or contractors working for Maintenance during the designated shift
Responsible for the supervision of Maintenance personnel (Electricians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Boiler Operators on the designated shift. Direct daily activities.
Plan, execute, and evaluate all maintenance work requests, including parts requisitions.
Plan, schedule, evaluate and update preventive and predictive maintenance for all equipment. Troubleshoot Lines 6, 9, and 25 and any auxiliary equipment as needed.
Establish procedures and work standards to maximize operating efficiency.
Direct, coordinate, and inspect the activities of outside contractors.
Coordinate daily assignments and prioritization of work orders and emergency repairs with the other shifts and provide both written and oral updates to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsible for employee training and development, discipline, scheduling, and record-keeping for payroll and attendance.
Ability to communicate with management, customers, suppliers, and internal work groups.
Ten (10) years of experience in management of a Maintenance/Electrical team in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to plan, organize, and schedule the work of others
Good personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, email.
