Production Supervisor/Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the store

- Manage inventory control and oversee purchasing decisions

- Conduct employee orientation and training programs to enhance team performance

- Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing potential candidates

- Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks accurately

- Ensure effective cash handling procedures are followed by all staff

- Maintain high levels of customer service and address any customer inquiries or issues promptly

- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations

- Implement sales management techniques to drive revenue growth

- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication

- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

- Proven supervisory experience in a retail environment

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively

- Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting

- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions

- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail sales is preferred

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette
