Production Operator - Grafoil Processor - 2nd Shift

Up to $27.26 per Hour; Eligible for Shift Premium of $2.00 per Hour and for Department Premium of $1.50 per Hour

Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 11:00pm

We have an immediate opening for a Production Operator - Grafoil Processor on 2nd Shift at our Lakewood, OH facility. The primary function of these positions is to safely operate different types of equipment/machinery in order to process material and products to be shipped to customers.

Responsibilities

- Work in a safe manner and follow all HS&EP regulations, policies and procedures.

- Operate production equipment and machinery.

- Adhere to all quality standards.

- Proactively make or suggest adjustments to equipment and/or processes in order to maintain the efficient and safe production of high quality material.

- Maintain good housekeeping in area/department.

- Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as part of our preventive maintenance program.

- Use of rulers, micrometers, and SPC recording to check quality of material and products.

- Perform data entry work on a computer.

- Maintain all written records required to execute jobs.

- Reporting maintenance requirements for equipment used.

- Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

- High school Diploma or GED required.

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is required.

- Previous experience operating production machinery/equipment is required.

- Experience operating converting and automated equipment is highly preferred.

- Must be clean-shaven for medical pre-employment respirator fit test upon job offer.

- Ability to work different shifts.

- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Detail oriented.

- Strong communication skills.

- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, operate a variety of hand tools and operate fork lift.

Working Conditions

- Frequent lifting, standing, bending, twisting, stooping is required as part of this position.

- Majority of work is performed in the manufacturing area.

- Certain tasks within the department require a respirator - i.e. furnace cleanout - must be clean shaven.

- Off-Shift New Hires are required to train on 1st Shift for a minimum of 90 Days
