As a Production Administration Analyst III, you will independently manage complex production accounting responsibilities, including providing and analyzing upstream production accounting data to support operational and financial decision-making. Your responsibilities will include calculating and reconciling production volumes, prepare allocation reports, and ensure accurate purchaser and regulatory reporting.

You’ll serve as a key resource for internal and external stakeholders, contribute to process improvements through automation and system enhancements, and support audits with advanced reconciliation and reporting.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

- Manages monthly close activities including production volume reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis for operated and non-operated assets

- Prepares and maintains production allocation schedules, purchaser splits, and regulatory report

- Monitors and tracks well-level production data to ensure accuracy and completeness across systems and reports

- Collaborates with field operations, engineering, land, and revenue teams to resolve complex production data issues and ensure timely, accurate reporting

- Participates in strategic projects and system upgrades, representing the production accounting function in cross-departmental initiatives

- Other duties as assigned


Education/Years of Experience:

- Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related major with a strong accounting focus; minimum four (4) years experience in accounting in the energy industry

- Preferred: CPA


Other Requirements:

- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications

- Promotes effective cross-functional communication and collaboration within the team and across departments

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial skills

- Preferred: Familiarity with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
