Job Summary
The Product Manager works under the direction of the Engineering Manager and has progressively greater responsibility for product development projects that involve commercialization and market adoption in robotic machining, manufacturing automation, and CNC environments. Specific expectations of the Product Manager include:
•Coordinating internal resources, partners, suppliers, machine builders, and system integrators for new product planning, scheduling, and developing.
•Drive prototype and production-planning processes for cross-functional teams.
•Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build versus buy perspective.
•Evaluate competitive offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation.
•Analyze product requirements and develop programs to ensure they are met.
•Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
•Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.
Responsibilities
•Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including market research, competitor analysis, design and functional requirements, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and launch.
•Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
•Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, primary use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
•Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
•Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales in the development, quality assurance, testing, and release of products.
•Assist marketing and sales in product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product portfolio across primary market segments.
Minimum Requirements
•Strong experience in machining, automation, or robotic sectors.
•Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
•Effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
•Experience in delivering fine-tuned product marketing strategies.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
