JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Product Installation Specialist - Seatle, Washington
REPORTS TO TITLE: Product Installation Manager
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Product Installation Specialist is responsible for developing and executing fiber cement building product installation training and support to the internal sales organization, distribution customers, dealers, builders, contractors and more. Able to effectively deliver presentations based on differing audiences being addressed or trained. Link the technical aspects of product installation with upcoming market trends or needs to be used in determining new ways to drive profitable growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Provide regular daily product support to the sales team, channel partners, various trades, design teams, and general contractors.
•Proactively aid the sales organization by conducting pre audits of targeted builders and installers current and future construction either in the field or via plans.
+ Partner with sales team and pricing management making recommendations for builder/installer rebate programs, modifications to those programs based on analytical critique of program structure and actual findings.
+ Integrating reporting of target builder findings with sales processes as to not delay or interfere with the typical sales cycle/activities and helping sales to refine renewal programs.
- Managing data while in market and creating management reports based on market discoveries to deliver savings and statistical findings on customer product usage.
- Communicate findings with Sales and Pricing Management via written reports (Excel, PowerPoint, Dashboards, etc.)
+ Provide insight and verify volume in the early stages of the program term. Identify potential claim issues and assist sales organization to resolve before becoming a financial liability.
+ Understanding of on the wall cost analysis and ability to verify a like for like comparison between company and competitive product.
•Organize and plan classroom and field training sessions.
+ Educate customers on best practices and installation guidelines.
+ Ability to speak in front of large groups and effectively communicate across all levels of organization.
•Perform inspections for warranty claims and generate comprehensive reports with the findings.
+ Provide detailed reporting on claim verification audits to field services manager.
+ Complete field audits and provide accurate take off volume information for Allura products on each target
list: siding, trim, soffit, shingle; and identifying any competitive product.
- Timely and accurate recording of data.
- Classification of compliance vs. program requirements.
•Pre-planning and communicating with local sales team to identify additional market specific objectives prior to each market visit.
+ Arranging weekly travel to markets across the U.S.
- Ability to plan most efficient, cost-effective travel and trip routing.
•Able to climb stairwells, ladders and/or a man lift anywhere from one story to ten stories in heights (0 feet to 100 feet). Use power tools such as nail guns, cutting tools, and other standard carpentry tools. Use fall arrest equipment, harnesses, safety rope systems, scaffolding systems and pump jacks.
•Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. This includes but is not limited to products, scaffolding and tools.
•Identify installation techniques which improve efficiency of installing fiber cement.
•Regularly research and report current or evolving competing exterior cladding products, accessory products, framing/wall assemblies, weather proofing, safety PPE equipment, and tools related to the use of our products.
•Experienced reading and understanding blueprints, structural and architectural drawings, and specifications.
•Clearly understand wind load attachment performance, all company technical documents, and all product certifications.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor degree in business administration
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in the siding or exterior cladding product industry
•Valid OSHA 10-hour safety card a plus
•Valid First Aid and CPR training a plus
•Must be computer literate with strong Microsoft Office
•Bi-lingual in French or Spanish a plus
