We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic technical team in Houston. This role is integral to the design, development, testing, and commercialization of cutting-edge downhole tools. From concept and feasibility through to field trials and deployment, you'll collaborate with engineers, designers, and technicians to bring next-generation solutions to life.
You will lead design initiatives, create qualification plans, and perform detailed engineering analyses while keeping projects on track and aligned with BiSN’s high performance standards.
• Design and develop new products and systems to expand and enhance BiSN’s
• Define, document, and communicate test protocols and qualification plans.
• Analyze test results, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and track project milestones across design, prototyping, and testing phases.
• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Maintain thorough and organized engineering documentation and product files.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience with engineering testing, product validation, and qualification planning.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in downhole oilfield tool design, testing, or field support.
