Imerys seeks a Product Analyst to support our lead product manager in implementing strategic roadmaps for minerals and marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating with commercial and operations teams, aiding in sales execution, forecasting, and identifying future opportunities and risks to drive sales growth.
- Monitor customer forecasts and orders, collaborating with Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align demand planning with production capacity to meet customer needs.
- Assist the Product Manager with export and international sales, including coordination with overseas commercial teams on product inquiries, pricing, demand planning, logistics, and market development.
- Support and communicate decisions on product allocations and order priorities to commercial and operations teams.
- Support administrative tasks related to pricing, credit/debit adjustments, and logistics cost management.
- Drive process improvements in reporting and business analysis.
- Compile and analyze data from various sources to provide detailed insights into market segments, plant supply capabilities, and profitability.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to understand markets, customers, and their needs.
- Track market trends, industry developments, competitive actions, value chain shifts, and growth opportunities.
- Define goals, metrics, and analytics to assess product value, continuously refining the product backlog based on insights.
- Work with the marketing team to build and maintain supply/demand models, conducting in-depth analyses to understand business drivers.
- Monitor research and competitive landscapes to recommend solutions that keep products best-in-class.
- Promote collaboration with cross-functional teams (Engineering, S&T, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) to enhance value delivery and resolve obstacles.
- Support the lead Product Manager with relevant tasks and projects.
- Lead meetings to gather critical information and communicate key findings, opportunities, and strategies for enhancing business performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role
- Strong ability to interpret data, develop actionable insights supported by facts, analysis, and scenario planning
- Advanced research and analytical skills
