Performs high pressure test specific to division equipment. Computer skills are preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. The ability to perform mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is required. Reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Ability to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others. Ensure all OSHA regulated safety training is current. Champions safety awareness and environmental consciousness and compiles with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Champions and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.

Operate, observe and read pressure and temperature of gauges and charts. Document pressure readings; report any irregular reading to management5. Inspect all unit components and report defective parts to management. Test equipment for proper “per test room instructions and item specific testing instructions. Maintain all gauges, charts and other related equipment for used testing. Possess the ability to work independently and also assist other technicians. Operation of a “high pressure test pump”. Installation of individual and numerous chiksan related valves and miscellaneous pieces on a “test stump” for purposes of a “high pressure and low pressure” integrity test. Properly use, care for, and maintenance of company tools, equipment and vehicles.1 Perform testing to insure equipment is in good working order before rental. Complete test report forms and log books neatly and accurately. Operation of manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical hand tools (hammer, impact wrench, assorted wrenches and ratchets, chair tong, and screw driver); forklifts; and overhead job cranes. Participate in JSA discussion specific to job tasks at hand. Participate in pre-job safety meetings. Assumes personal responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
