MTW Industries is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and hard-working Press Brake Operator for second shift. A self-starting individual with excellent attendance, attention to detail, and determination to succeed is essential to accomplish the production needs of our fast-paced, high-demand, industrial facility.
At MTW, products are primarily manufactured from steel and aluminum in our temperature-controlled facility. These items may be stand-alone products or used to produce multiple assemblies and structures. Press Brake Operators at MTW are responsible for the precise alignment and operation of the press brake machine to bend, punch, form, and/or otherwise manipulate metal materials.
Attention to detail and creative problem solving is necessary as MTW requires all operators to work to exact design specifications and deadlines. Following written and/or verbal instructions is key. Press Brake Operators must be able to read drawings, lift/maneuver heavy materials, and utilize math skills accurately.
o Press brake machine set-up and proper material alignment
o Comprehensive press brake operation duties to process materials necessary to fulfill customer orders
o Upkeep, troubleshooting, and general maintenance of the press brake machine
o Ability to aid in other shop duties as needed
o Industrial Press Brake experience required (manual and CNC controls)
o Excellent attention to detail, math skills, and ability to read drawings/prints
o Excellent attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
o Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
o Aptitude for good judgement and rational thought
o Operation of safety equipment and knowledge/utilization of safe work habits
o Strong desire for continued growth and learning (training opportunities occur)
· Bend, stoop, lift, squat, twist while maneuvering materials
· Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (MTW will provide training if needed)
· Read and accurately use a tape measure, rule, and square
· Troubleshoot fit, quality, or other potential concerns

Pleasant facility, all operations were relocated to the newly refurbished, temperature-controlled facility in Clare, MI.
