A key Optimus client needs a Power Trader
with NYISO experience to focus on managing and optimizing energy generation and load asset portfolios in bilateral and/or RTO markets. The Power trader will create short-term strategies for submitting generation offers, placing load bids, handling bilateral transactions, and managing transmission/congestion products for both client-based and proprietary positions. The position involves working closely with dispatch teams, planning coordinators, and internal staff to make economically sound decisions for short-term, real-time unit issues and intra-day planning.
NOTE: This role sits in Florida and candidates are required to work in Florida or in the NE office.
