Job Summary

This is a rotational role for a Natural Gas Generator Technician located in Midland, TX. The Natural Gas Generator Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of natural gas generators to ensure efficient and reliable power generation.

Duties

•

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on gas-powered equipment and systems.

•

Utilize power tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.

•

Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

•

Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.

•

Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

•

Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and satisfaction.

Skills

•

Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic, preferably with gas systems.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair generators and other gas-powered equipment.

•

Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Experience in natural gas generator maintenance and troubleshooting 2 years minimum.

•

Knowledge of electrical systems and components

•

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings

•

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

•

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

•

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred

•

Ability to travel to locations sometimes overnight
