We’re looking for a forward-thinking
Power Generation Systems Engineer III | Engineer Seniorto lead the charge in designing and optimizing advanced control systems that power our energy future. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on collaboration, strategic planning, and real-time problem-solving. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure generation systems are designed, delivered, and operate at peak performance—on time and within budget.
From programming PLC and DCS-based systems to leading diagnostics on high-impact assets, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and intelligence of our generation infrastructure. Key Skills & Tasks Control System Design
– Design and develop control strategies to meet technical and project-specific requirements, ensuring optimal system performance.
PLC & DCS Programming
– Program, configure, and maintain PLC and DCS-based systems, with a strong working knowledge of Mark VIe, T-3000, Digital Control Systems, and other common automation platforms.
Project Collaboration
– Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
Real-Time Troubleshooting
– Perform system diagnostics and identify root causes of control system issues to implement effective, real-time solutions.
Documentation & Specifications
– Develop detailed engineering specifications, control narratives, and technical documentation to support design integrity and compliance.
Systems Planning
– Contribute to the development of long-range system plans through technical, economic, and operational analysis of generation systems.
Leadership & Mentorship
– Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.
Engineering Decision-Making
– Take ownership of technical recommendations, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, safety, and strategic objectives.
