We are seeking an individual to join our team for the permanent, full-time, dayshift position of Powder Paint & Surface Finish Lead.
This position consists of running the daily operations of our conveyor-style powder paint system, and deburring / surface finish department. The successful applicant must have experience in a supervisory role and powder coating experience is a requirement.
The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and good team building skills. Your in-depth experience in powder coating will allow you to drive ongoing Quality Improvements and Cost Reductions (QICR). Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure ongoing system controls are monitored to validate the performance of the finished product.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Direct supervision of 4 to 6 individuals
· Administer safety policies within our HSE / COR safety program
· You have good written & oral English language skills and a good communicator
· You will aid the scheduling of departmental work flows to improve throughput
· Ownership of the daily production as per product work order instructions
· Verify quality control to meet our defined finish standards
· Monitor & record various system tests for acceptance and future traceability
· You will aid in the preventative maintenance of departmental equipment
· Perform departmental training and skills development of supervised staff
· Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Salary: Negotiable depending upon relevant experiences. $24 to $30/hr.
Hours: Dayshift, Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week
