The Portfolio Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial performance and strategic equity management of a diversified portfolio of utility-scale solar assets. This role focuses on maximizing investor returns, maintaining strong relationships with debt and equity partners, and ensuring compliance with financial and contractual obligations. The manager leads portfolio-level financial analysis, reporting, and strategic direction of project financial structures, working closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, project finance, legal, and asset management. This role is pivotal in aligning project-level performance with broader investor expectations and long-term portfolio value creation. Responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact post deal closing for lender and equity commercial interactions, leading portfolio-level financial analysis and reporting, preparing investor materials, contributing to equity strategy discussions, coordinating post-deal handoff meetings, tracking equity portfolio performance, analyzing project financials, partnering on long-term portfolio financial optimization, facilitating loan draw reporting, supporting governance processes, assisting in audits and tax deliverables, maintaining transaction documents, ensuring compliance with partnership agreements, assisting with waivers and refinancings, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining lender and tax equity records, collaborating cross-functionally, maintaining organizational excellence, and demonstrating company core values. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, energy/environmental, or related field, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or related discipline preferably in renewable industry, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and strong skills in financial acumen, communication, accountability, data analysis, organization, and self-motivation.
