- This is a non-exempt position.
- 12 Paid Holidays in addition to salary.
- Take home vehicle.
- Paid overtime or may be accrued as compensatory time
- Hours will be assigned by the supervisor.
- The Town of Denton will provide uniforms.
- Health/Vision/Dental paid by the Town
- State Retirement Employee (currently 6%); Employer matched (currently 15.04%)
- Town contributes 5% to the LEO 401K. You can contribute to the 401K/Roth IRA/457 Retirement Plans as well.
- Colonial Life – Accident, Cancer, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance
- Life Insurance Policy- paid by the Town (Policy amount depends on age)
- LEO is paid based on the 171 rule. All hours over 171 in a 28-day cycle are considered overtime. Staff can receive paid overtime or elect to accrue as compensatory time.
- Vacation Leave, accrued monthly
- Sick Leave, 8 hours accrued per month
- Longevity Pay, paid once a year.
- Continuing Education provided.
