Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cement safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively.

Responsibilities

- Operate tanker trucks to transppet cement to various destinations.

- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.

- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported.

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on assigned routes.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transportation.

- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.

- Utilize manual transmission skills for efficient driving in various conditions.

Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.

- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tankers or dump trucks.

- Familiarity with route driving and the ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems.

- Experience operating refrigerated trailers is a plus.

- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
