The Pneumatic Panel Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining specific mechanical equipment on offshore oil and gas facilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Trouble shoot efficiently, provide routine preventive maintenance, repair, and calibrate all on site pneumatic controls systems and field components.
•Disassemble instruments; clean, rebuild/replace components, reassemble and test.
•Calibrate and test components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications, and procedures.
•Participate and assist in regular visual inspections.
•Perform service, condition monitoring and diagnosis on systems.
•Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with operating procedures and CFR regulations.
•Proficient at bending/installing all high pressure and low pressure tubing, and associated components.
Qualifications:
•Extensive knowledge of Pneumatic Panel control systems and components with 4-5 years in the oil and gas industry (offshore).
•Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all pneumatic panel and field devices.
•Knowledge of various Pneumatic panel logic for the following types of panels; Well Control Panel, Master Control Panel, P/L Pump control panel, Compressor Control panel, VRU control panel, ESD control systems, Firewater Pump control panels.
•Broad knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
•Aware of oil and gas industry regulation, hazards, and safety.
