Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication and machining processes. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and the production of high-quality components. The Operator will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
•
Operate various machines, including CNC equipment, to fabricate components according to specifications.
•
Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision in production.
•
Perform setup and adjustments on press brake machines as needed for different projects.
•
Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in daily tasks.
•
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
•
Safely operate cranes for moving heavy materials within the facility.
•
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
Skills
•
Proficient in fabrication techniques and machining processes.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
•
Experience with CNC programming and operation is preferred.
•
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers for quality assurance.
•
Ability to operate press brake machines effectively.
•
Knowledge of GD&T principles for interpreting technical drawings accurately.
•
Basic math skills for calculating measurements and tolerances.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
