SUMMARY
The Equipment Reliability (ER) Engineer position is responsible for learning the plant site, procedures, programs and organization along with obtaining engineering qualifications as required in the allotted timeframe. The ER Engineer will support station activities related to providing technical support for the operation, maintenance and testing of plant systems. Additionally, the ER Engineer will perform engineering evaluations to either address technical plant issues or regarding changes to plant equipment planned maintenance strategies, serving as an advocate for maintaining balance between plant reliability and financial excellence, while maintaining nuclear, personnel, and environmental safety.

Note 1: One (1) year experience may be credited for an engineering Master’s degree, two (2) years’ experience may be credited for an engineering PhD degree. Engineering intern experience may be credited one-for-one for engineering experience, i.e., 1 month engineering internship may count as 1 month engineering experience at the discretion of the applicable Engineering Manager.
Note 2: The number of years of experience listed above represents the minimum unless approved otherwise by the Director/GM of Engineering on a case-by-case basis; additional years of experience may be required to earn promotion at the discretion of the applicable Engineering Manager.
