The Plant Accountant II will lead and support Plant and Corporate accounting transaction processing functions and for the timely reporting of the financial results. The Plant Accountant will ensure that financial records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies/procedures. Will prepare, analyze, and review financial statements using accounting principles. Assist the Plant Manager with Operational Accounting, and report to the Regional Controller in achieving the overall objectives of the operation. The candidate will also support the company’s annual audits. This position will require a highly organized individual with strong analytics, enjoys daily accounting challenges and is persistent in getting to the right answer.
This hybrid role requires regular on-site presence in Berkeley Springs, WV three days per week. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Berkeley Springs, WV; Hagerstown, MD; Martinsburg, WV; Winchester, VA; or Frederick, MD.
