Position Summary
Refinery Value Chain Optimization (RVCO) has an opening for the position of Planning & Optimization Engineer. This position will report to the Value Chain Optimization Director - South. The candidate should expect to perform in an advisory role, work in a team setting with a wide variety of professionals and handle multiple priorities. To be successful, the candidate should be highly motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to distill complex concepts into a concise narrative required for stakeholder education. The successful candidate will provide consulting support factoring in the entire value chain to the South Economics and Planning groups and the Commercial Organization.
Key Responsibilities* Manages the commercial aspects of regional refinery operations, including feedstock selection, product and intermediate placement, supply chain optimization, and market analysis.Education and Experience Planning & Optimization Engineer* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
Senior Planning & Optimization Engineer* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
