Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations while contributing to economic development initiatives. This position requires a blend of technical skills and project management expertise to effectively support our planning objectives.
Duties
•
Draft and review contracts related to project planning and execution.
•
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for the creation of visual presentations and reports.
•
Conduct data collection and analysis to inform project decisions.
•
Prepare comprehensive reports that communicate findings and recommendations.
•
Employ ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis to support planning efforts.
•
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
•
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within established guidelines.
•
Stay updated on environmental law and regulations relevant to planning activities.
Skills
•
Proficiency in drafting contracts and technical documents.
•
Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite for design and presentation purposes.
•
Excellent report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
•
Familiarity with ArcGIS for geographic information system applications.
•
Understanding of economic development principles and practices.
•
Experience in data collection methodologies and analysis techniques.
•
Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through completion.
•
Knowledge of environmental law as it pertains to planning activities is highly desirable.
