Position Summary:
The QEP/IRA Manger ensures our renewable energy construction projects adhere to regulatory, legal, and company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and highly motivated. The manager will be involved with labor and wage regulations and compliance of these regulations. This is an on-site position with opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integrity Management:
•Conduct integrity assessments, including inline inspections, hydrostatic testing, and direct
assessment, to identify threats and vulnerabilities to pipeline assets.
•Actively participate, plan, and/or execute clients’ integrity management programs to assess,
monitor, and mitigate risks to client assets.
2. Project Planning and Scheduling:
•Work with Project Manager to develop detailed project plans, including scope execution,
schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
•Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and regulatory
compliance, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
3. Construction and Maintenance
•Oversee the execution of construction and maintenance activities related to pipeline integrity
- including but not limited to: inspection, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation projects.
•Provide leadership and direction to construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring
compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
•Complete and submit all required project-related documentation to Project Manager and/or
relevant company stakeholders.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
•Ensure work being done complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards
related to pipeline integrity, including PHMSA regulations, API standards, and company
policies.
•Maintain accurate records and documentation of related activities, including inspection
reports, maintenance records, and regulatory filings.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal departments,
regulatory agencies, landowners, and community members, regarding integrity-related
projects
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in pipeline integrity management or related field.
•Strong knowledge of integrity assessment techniques, including inline inspection tools,
hydrostatic testing, and direct assessment methods.
•Experience with project management principles and practices, including project planning,
scheduling, and budgeting.
•Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pipeline integrity,
including PHMSA regulations and API standards.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with
stakeholders at all levels
Physical Requirements:
•Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting. The role may require occasional travel.
•Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
