Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Advanced Pipeline Integrity NDT Technician at American Piping Inspection located in Houston, TX. The technician will be responsible for conducting phased array Ultrasonics, Quality Control inspections, and Corrosion monitoring to ensure pipeline integrity and safety.
Qualifications
•Ultrasonics PAUT proficiency
•Expertise in Quality Control and Inspection techniques
•Knowledge of Corrosion monitoring
•Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Certification in NDT methods is a plus
•Experience in pipeline integrity assessments
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
•Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on pipeline systems to ensure integrity and compliance with ASME codes and standards.
•Collect and analyze data from inspections to identify potential issues.
•Perform quality control checks and inspections to maintain high manufacturing standards.
•Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
•Communicate findings and collaborate with team members to enhance overall pipeline safety and reliability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 84 per week
