Full job description

Layout, assembles, and install pipe systems of various shapes, sizes and pressures. Ensures proper placement, connections, and alignment according to project specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

- Plans pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to project specifications

- Determines equipment and material needs for each assignment

- Cuts, threads, and bends, pipe to specifications using hand tools and power tools

- Measures and marks pipes for cutting and threading

- Assembles pipes, tubes, and fittings according to specifications

- Inspects work site to identify obstructions or holes that will cause structure weakness

- Inspects, examines, and tests installed systems to ensure quality construction

- Identify and resolve construction site problems

- Provide immediate and accurate communication to the General Superintendent

- Enforce OSHA safety standards at all times

Job Skills, Knowledge, Training and Experience:

- Sound knowledge of various types of construction equipment and construction procedures

- Knowledge of underground structure construction techniques

- Ability to inspect and evaluate the quality of materials

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations

- Ability to identify and resolve problems

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize meeting deadlines

- Self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
