Summary

As a Pipeline Tech at Island Operating Company, you will be integral to our operations in the oil and gas sector. This role involves working directly with heavy equipment and control systems, contributing to our mission of maintaining safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

- Utilize logic controllers and distributed control systems for monitoring operations.

- Experience with pigging operations.

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

- Assist in building and assembling equipment as needed for operational tasks.

- Conduct heavy lifting tasks as required by project specifications.

- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and equipment status.

Qualifications

- MUST have a clean MVR and driving license.

- Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly on pipeline operations.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment effectively.

- Familiarity with logic controllers and distributed control systems is essential.

- Basic math skills for calculations related to operations are required.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely as part of job responsibilities.

- Experience with building or assembling machinery is a plus.

- Strong commitment to safety practices in all operational activities.
