We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pet Health Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in veterinary care and a strong ability to educate and support pet owners. This role focuses on helping pet parents understand their pets’ health needs, providing guidance through educational resources, and ensuring a clear, compassionate customer experience.
In addition to educator responsibilities, we are seeking candidates with the potential to grow into management and leadership roles as the company expands.
- Educate pet parents on common health concerns in dogs and cats using clear, empathetic communication.
- Review pet intake information (age, breed, lifestyle, goals) and provide tailored educational guidance.
- Conduct consultations via phone, video, or chat to help pet owners navigate resources and protocols.
- Contribute to educational content and resource development for our learning hub.
- Collaborate with our internal team to enhance customer experience and ensure consistency across communications.
- Maintain compliance with company guidelines (educational support only, not medical treatment).
- Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to mentor peers and potentially oversee future educator hires.
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred, or equivalent veterinary clinic experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years working with dogs and cats in a professional setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics in simple, friendly terms.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with online tools (Zoom, digital intake forms, CRM platforms).
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and interest in management growth opportunities.
- Hourly Pay: $30–$50/hour depending on expertise, experience, and leadership potential.
- Contract role starting at 10–20 hours/week, with potential to expand to full-time.
- Opportunities for management advancement and performance-based incentives as the company scales.
- Be part of a fast-growing company shaping the future of pet wellness.
- Flexible remote role with meaningful work — helping pet parents feel more confident and supported.
- Growth path into management, with the ability to help build and lead a team of educators.
- Work alongside a passionate, mission-driven team committed to improving pets’ quality of life.
