Responsibilities
•Foster a positive, engaging workplace culture that supports employee well-being and retention. Create initiatives that promote a thriving and motivated workforce.
•Onboarding & Offboarding: Complete seamless onboarding for new hires and a structured offboarding process with our HRIS, including exit interviews and feedback collection to drive continuous improvement.
•HR Compliance & Recordkeeping: Maintain and update employee records in compliance with labor laws, tracking performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and company objectives. Ensure HRIS system data is accurate for easy reporting and access.
•Leave & Benefits Administration: Manage PTO, sick leave, and other time-off requests, ensuring compliance with policies and timely approvals. Assist the Finance Team with benefits communication and tracking during open enrollment and renewal periods.
•HR & Compliance Support: Act as the point of contact for HR inquiries and collaborate with leadership and legal counsel to ensure company policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
•Payroll & Workforce Management: Assist as the liaison between employees and Finance for payroll-related inquiries. Process bi-weekly payroll for salary, hourly, and panel pay employees while supporting 401(k) and benefits administration.
•Recruitment & Talent Strategy: Work closely with leadership to recruit, interview, and hire top talent, ensuring the company attracts and retains skilled professionals. Develop and oversee succession planning initiatives.
•Facilitate learning and development programs to support employee growth.
•Risk Management & Insurance: Collaborate with Finance to complete workers’ compensation audits, 5500 reporting, and company insurance renewals. Work with brokers to negotiate competitive rates and ensure compliance with insurance policies and reporting.
•HR Policy & Compliance Oversight: Stay up to date with HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, ensuring company policies align with employment laws and industry standards.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
•A minimum of (5) years of Human Resource Management experience is required.
•SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, or HR Certification preferred.
