Parts Person III (ED) (1311)

Scope of Work:

Respectfully perform all aspects of tasks associated with inside sales of products and services that meet the requirements of WPI customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Fulfills all functions and duties of Parts Person I & II

- Assist outside sales with quotes and inquiries

- Maintain good paperwork flow from parts department

- Assists shop with parts orders on overhauls

- Coordinate emergency orders with WPI vendors and delivery companies

- Monitor and report problems with inventory and stock levels

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must have 2 years previous experience

- Must High School Diploma or equivalent

- Some mechanical background or knowledge is helpful

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

- Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards

- Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows based environment

- Must be able to lift pounds, must be able to bend and twist several times a day

- Must be able to bend and twist several times a day

- Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days

- Must be dependable and work independent

- Must maintain good client relations

- Must maintain a professional appearance

- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment

- Must have the ability to effectively operate various types of office equipment, (i.e. fax, printer copier, etc.)

- Must have the ability to effectively operate forklift

- Must protect the company assets and interests

Working Conditions:

- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

- Weekend hours as necessary.

- Office indoor work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
