Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Parts Driver to join our team. This role is critical to our field operations, ensuring that materials and equipment reach our crews on time across job sites in the NYC metro area. Prior experience driving commercial vehicles in New York City is required.

Responsibilities

•

Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver parts and materials to job sites and vendors.

•

Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to established routes and schedules.

•

Load and unload parts and materials; this role requires regular heavy lifting.

•

Maintain a clean, organized, and mechanically sound vehicle.

•

Complete all necessary paperwork for deliveries, including delivery confirmations and material tickets.

•

Adhere strictly to all DOT, safety, and company driving policies.

•

Support warehouse operations as needed when not on deliveries.

•

Begin learning the basics of mechanical and HVAC systems to better understand the parts being delivered and to support foremen and shop staff more effectively.

Qualifications

•

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required.

•

Proven experience driving in NYC (minimum 2 years); experience with route delivery is preferred.

•

Familiarity with navigating job sites, construction yards, and commercial addresses in NYC.

•

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

•

Must be able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs).

•

Willingness to learn basic mechanical terminology and how parts relate to HVAC and piping systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
