Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. Duties
•Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
•Assist clients in completing rental applications and lease agreements.
•Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and leasing activities.
•Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
•Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and appealing.
•Stay informed about local market trends, rental rates, and property laws, including LIHTC and Section 8 regulations.
•Utilize sales techniques to upsell additional services or features to potential renters.
•Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to leasing contracts.
Skills
•Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
•Experience in sales, particularly in a leasing or real estate environment.
•Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
•Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Section 8 housing programs is a plus.
•Ability to understand and interpret legal documents related to leasing contracts.
•Proficient in office software applications for record keeping and communication.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively.
