Part Sales Clerk

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 + Commission

Position Summary

The Parts Salesman is responsible for promoting, quoting, and selling replacement parts for wheel loader attachments and related equipment. This role focuses on building strong relationships with customers, providing knowledgeable product support, and ensuring that clients receive the correct parts in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers in assigned territory.

- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate replacement parts for wheel loader attachments and related equipment.

- Prepare and deliver accurate price quotes, proposals, and order confirmations.

- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, shipping) to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activity, and market feedback.

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate part requirements to our purchasing department.

- Provide after-sales support including troubleshooting, warranty assistance, and problem resolution.

- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in sales, heavy equipment sales, or industrial manufacturing (preferred).

- Basic knowledge of construction equipment, wheel loaders, and attachments is (preferred).

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams or parts manuals.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SAP (preferred).

- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and customer-focused.

- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
