Work Designation - Onsite at 1 Riverside Plaza, Columbus, OH
Performs a variety of substantive legal work under the direction of the organization's attorneys. Conducts legal research, drafts legal documents and performs other related duties which include "recognition, evaluation, and communication of relevant facts and legal concepts" as defined by the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. Has or is working towards a paralegal designation.
+ Conducting complex records reviews + Document preparation + Legal research + Coordinating communication with AEP employees and outside counsel + Gathering responsive documentation for, and preparing, discovery responses + Preparing subpoena responses + Coordinating electronic discovery collections and productions
Bachelor's degree with Paralegal certificate obtained or in process with 1 year of relevant work experience OR associate’s degree in paralegal studies or Paralegal certificate required or in process with 3 years of relative work experience.
Bachelor's degree with Paralegal Certificate obtained or in process with 5 years of experience
OR associate’s degree in paralegal studies or Paralegal certificate required or in process with 7 years of relevant work experience.
