Working Title: Paint Line Technician

Mid-Am Metal Forming is a metal fabrication company based in Rogersville, Missouri. We specialize in architectural metal forming, fabrication, painting, and assembly. Our custom-manufactured components are commonly used in commercial building products across the entire United States and have been used on buildings as far away as New Zealand!

Job Description Summary: Mid-Am Metal Forming is looking for a qualified paint line technician at our Rogersville, Missouri facility. The paint line processes aluminum architectural components that are pre-treated and hung on a conveyor system. The paint is solvent-based, and it is applied using handheld, electrostatic sprayers. The paint line technicians are responsible for the pre-treatment of the metal using overhead hoists, hanging of the components on the conveyor system, quality control and accurate counting of the parts after the paint has cured, and readying the finished products for either shipment or transfer to the next department.

The typical schedule consists of ten hours per day, Monday through Friday. Since we are a custom shop, production is occasionally scheduled to work on a Saturday.

Job Duties

· Counting and inspecting material at each handling stage

· Verifying exposure of paint surfaces

· Load baskets, secure material, and dip the baskets into a sequence of chemicals

· Maintaining quality and accountability logs
