Paint Prep Tech

What You’ll Do:

The Paint Prep Technician is responsible for preparing truck bodies for painting by ensuring the surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for a flawless paint application. The role ensures that all surfaces are free from imperfections to allow for a smooth and professional paint finish.

- Prep truck bodies for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and degreasing.

- Cross-train in the wash booth and blast booth to clean and prepare surfaces.

- Inspect and smooth surfaces for a high-quality paint finish.

- Safely handle tools, pressure washers, and cleaning solvents.

- Work with the paint team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in automotive bodywork, blasting, or surface prep preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to follow safety rules and operate equipment in a manufacturing setting.
