ACEMCO offers the following benefits to our manufacturing team members(packers):

Pay: $16 an hour. Second shift also qualifies for $2.00 shift premium. 3rd shift qualifies for a $1.50 shift premium. Amount is not inclusive of total compensation package.

What can you expect as a manufacturing team member (packer) on a typical shift at ACEMCO?

As a manufacturing team member (packer) you will perform a variety of operations including but not limited to:

- Responsible to lift workpiece manually and secure workpiece in fixture or load into automatic feeding device.

- Responsible to assemble components of; correctly, efficiently with consistent quality work and following standardized work and quality standards.

- Responsible to perform production and/or assembly of parts in a safe manner adhering to all safety policies.

- Responsible to distinguish and correct, as needed, the quality of a welded, milled, pressed, or assembling process.

- Responsible to learn and train in other areas of ACEMCO.

- Responsible to replace worn machine accessories such as weld tips.

- Responsible to pack parts into various containers as specified by a standard.

- Responsible to adhere to and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing standards.

- Responsible to preform additional duties not specifically outlined in this position description but as directed by the supervisor for the benefit of the company.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required and supplied. Eye protection (safety glasses) is required and supplied. You are required to purchase and wear steel toe safety shoes or boots.

Shift Hours:

1st shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

2nd shift: 2:00pm -10:00p.m.

3rd shift 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Monday – Friday with occasional overtime to be expected on Saturdays and Sundays.
