Packaging & Shipping Associate - Manufacturing, Production, Finished Goods

We are looking for a Packing/Shipping Associate to join our finished goods team.

The Packing/Shipping Associate essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

- Package product after completion into finished goods boxes. Printing certifications and stickers ensuring that stickers are placing in the correct location, attention to detail in matching serial numbers on all products and corresponding finished goods boxes, shrink wrap jewelry, and clean knives prior to packaging completion.

- Entering correct on shelf counts and new products into the computer system and neatly placing goods on the shelf in correct and organized fashion, ready for pick and ship efficiently.

- Sort, verify, count, and organize incoming product into Finished Goods. Report defective product or questionable condition of product or packaging to supervisor for direction.

- Process outbound orders efficiently and accurately from shipment through invoicing using computer and software systems for each shipment. Must complete shipments on a timely basis prior to the last carrier pickup each day, following detailed customer specific shipping instructions while adhering to shipping timeframes provided.

- Ship customer orders through UPS/FedEx/USPS/LTL and 3PL carriers using shipping software integrated to the company’s MS Dynamics GP order entry system.

- Receive mail and incoming parcels daily and distribute.

- Maintain label printers in working order or request replacements when needed from UPS or FedEx.

- Maintain an organized and clean finished goods storage area, by efficiently handling, moving, and putting away product and performing basic housekeeping on a regular basis and when required.

- Maintain the shipping work area in a clean and organized fashion, with clear designation for outbound orders in progress or to be picked up for shipment by specific carrier.

- Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed and assist with annual physical inventory for Finished Goods inventory.

- Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
