Actual Title: Measurement Gas Electronic PE/PT Role

Collaborates closely with the PM and other cross functional teams (i.e., Regulatory, Safety, Quality, Environment, Measurement Engineering, operations, TIS (telecom, OT & IT network systems, SCADA, measurement Servers, RTU programmers) and the Enbridge construction team to ensure the compliance with all identified requirements.

Requires a superior technical knowledge of custody transfer measurement at a transmission natural gas meter station. The knowledge should include a working level of AGA and API measurement requirements for all flow elements, gas quality analyzers, station instrumentation, station automation within the RTU, remote station flow and pressure controls, station primary and UPS electrical system, intrinsic wiring methods, communications and network systems, SCADA, and measurement billing servers.

Assist with providing measurement technical direction to ESP with the development of modular templates to be used. A background in design, construction and commissioning for brownfield implementation would be beneficial.

Assist the ESP with the site-specific scope of work as required.

Assist with the management through procurement tools to monitor the purchase, receipt and invoicing of all hardware and software as required.

Assist with coordination and outage planning as required.

Responsible for all engineering deliverables, reviews, and field confirmations.

Facilitate and design reviews and ensure feedback is properly implemented. Also participate in the drawing and construction work package reviews.

Focus of the role is to manage engineering contractors’ and fabricators’ scope; however there will be project manager responsibilities to ensure program schedules are met, find solutions for schedule slippage, costs variances, and provide trends for project controls to capture.

Assist with communicating with regional measurement teams.

Assist PM with maintaining tracking tools, metrics, dashboards.

Assist PM with development of work instructions, procedures, and other program documents, as required

Assist with Program RFI, Design RFI’s and communications as required.

Send out Field Communication notification emails as required

Support Project Information Management Analyst to ensure requirements are met.

Ensuring relevant documents are stored in the appropriate project folders to be archived by document control.

Update and participate in Lessons Learned activities as required
