Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety while working collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to established procedures and guidelines.

- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and effectively.

- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications to ensure quality control.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Assist in inventory management by reporting discrepancies or shortages in stock levels.

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping deadlines and production targets.

- Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of warehouse operations.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
