Overview
Position is responsible for the scheduling and resourcing of T-0 through transmission and substation long range schedule for both PL and contractor work. Responsible for scheduling all transmission and substation PES and failed equipment type work. Responsible for communicating / coordinating with customers the plans and expectations for the completion of PES work. Key competencies for this position include a good working knowledge of transmission and substation systems and excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities•Directly responsible for the transmission and substation schedule and ensure all work is planned and ready for field implementation.
•Schedule all PPL long range transmission & substation large project work for current and future years.
•Makes resource determination of PL versus contractor crews for short and long-range transmission & substation work.
•Conduct weekly work plan meetings to communicate priorities to foremen and planning coordinators and assure understanding of the status of current week and future weeks work.
•Conduct weekly work plan meetings with Contractors and Planning Coordinators to communicate priorities and assure understanding of the status of current week.
•Places long range TCC/SO permit requests for current and future years
•Participate in weekly switching call to define T-1 switching schedule.
•Monitor transmission and substation budget for BI and large projects
•Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
•High School diploa or equivalent
•5+ years of industry experience in engineering, construction/operating assignments or design OR a four-year degree in business with a minimum of two years of field operations or resource scheduling experience.
•Work experience using corporate computer software systems.
•Valid PA driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Minimum two years transmission & substation or utility line construction experience, work management and job planning experience and/or transmission & substation experience required.
•Two-year technical degree or four year degree in business or planning.
•Knowledge of the resource management, scheduling tools and reporting.
•Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
