Terminal Operator – Oklahoma City, OK
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Terminal Operator to join our Oklahoma City team. This role supports a safe and customer-focused terminal environment through hands-on operation of terminal equipment, including loading and unloading of bulk trucks and rail cars. The position also includes routine maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections and complete inspection reports
• Load and unload bulk trucks and rail cars with cement
• Operate and adjust air slides and air pressure as required
• Accurately complete Bills of Lading (BOL) and other documentation, both digital and paper
• Operate rail switches and coordinate locomotive movement of rail cars
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on terminal equipment
• Maintain clean workspaces and perform general groundskeeping duties
• Address and correct all safety deficiencies promptly
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures and confined space entries per safety regulations
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong communication with team members, customers, vendors, and the public
• Ensure trucks are loaded dust-free and all reporting is completed accurately
Qualifications
• Prior experience in industrial operations, material handling, or terminal/plant environment preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a safety-driven environment
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
