The Position

Operator Level I

Job Summary

Assists the Production Supervisor / Foreman in operating and maintaining production system and mechanical equipment. Most of the job is bagging and stacking of goods to prepare for shipment. Some maintenance will be done by assistant with proper training. Fork Lift will be operated by assistant in the warehouse and outside to load trucks, after proper training.

Hourly Wage: $21/per hour plus benefits

Education and Experience Requirements

Experience: Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively to customers, suppliers or employees of the organization

Physical/Environmental Aspects Physical Demands:* Regularly required to stand, reach, climb, balance, walk and kneel

Work Environment:* Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, weather conditions, high areas, extreme heat near the furnaces and hot cyclones, and moderate noise levels
