As a Upstream Chemicals - Operations Specialist, you'll be involved in planning and development for the overall sales strategy of your team. In a high-impact, fast-paced environment you'll work with exclusive product lines. As a trusted leader, you'll deliver successful outcomes for customers through innovation, strategic solutions, good relationships and thorough business understanding.

As a Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Identifying business growth targets and implementing sales plans across the West Coast Region, in collaboration with Service Delivery, Field Business Development and Technology teams

- Building long-term strategic relationships with engineering, supply chain and executive personnel at customer regional offices

- Preparing of commercial proposals for chemical solutions to share with our customers

- Ensure compliance with Sales and Service Standards at a key customer accounts

- Drive the development of short and long range sales goals in concert with the Service Delivery and Sales Management

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a High School diploma

- Have a minimum four years of experience in upstream production chemicals

- Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others

- Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships

- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office

The annual pay scale for this position is between $63,700.00 - $118,200.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position.
