We are seeking an Operations Site Manager (Industrial Wastewater Plant) for our South-Central Kansas facility to oversee daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater plants. Candidates with a wastewater license and experience in industrial wastewater operations are preferred. This full-time role is primarily Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm, with occasional weekend overtime to support production, and requires the ability to operate plant systems as needed.
The starting pay is $26.00-$32.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates with enough industry experience may be able to negotiate a higher starting rate.

- Lead and develop a team of operators, managing hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, training, transfers, and terminations, while monitoring work quality and providing coaching for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with account managers to provide updates on ongoing operations.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with the maintenance team on repairs, upkeep, and equipment needs.
- Manage maintenance of all trucks and equipment, including capital budgeting.
- Develop and manage the operational budget and prepare monthly operations reports.
- Evaluate operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned to support plant operations.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5–7 years of water/wastewater experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and a state-specific Water/Wastewater Operator’s License. Additional site-specific licenses may apply.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications, familiarity with office equipment, and working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and utility SOPs. Skilled in preparing regulatory documentation, reports, and correspondence.

- Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift 50–60 pounds, move large equipment/tools, access confined spaces, and walk, climb stairs, and use ladders regularly.
