Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our contingent workforce business unit in the South Texas Region. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in driving sales and implementing strategic plans. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations, fostering business development, and achieving overall company objectives.

Responsibilities

- Manage customer accounts in their designated territory through face-to-face interaction, develop customer relations for continuous sales, and business development for new customers

- Representation for the Business Unit for monthly financial meetings; managing expense spending for the BU

- Manage HR functions from the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring payroll is submitted and approved correctly to HR, the first point of contact for employees

- Direct the safety culture amongst employees, promoting a safe work environment and accountability for employees

- Manage fleet of vehicles, ensuring trucks are kept in good working order, outfit new trucks as needed, and oversee driver safety

Qualifications

- Previous work history with contract labor companies.

- Proven experience in an operations management role in managing accounts for contingent labor.

- Vast network of professional relationships with customers and operators

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

- Demonstrated experience in sales management and business development strategies.

- Proficient in strategic planning and process improvement methodologies.

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in profit loss analysis.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
