About This Job
Befesa Zinc US Inc. is the largest producer of zinc in the U.S., all of which is produced from recycled sources. Our Palmerton, PA plant is looking to hire operation workers to strengthen our team.
Job Schedule:
•
8-hr rotating shift - including weekends and holidays
•
Mandatory overtime may be needed
Basic Requirements:
•
Pass a drug test
•
Work in a heavy manufacturing setting
•
Use simple hand tools
•
Climb ladders
•
Tolerate working in hot/cold areas
•
Walk on elevated grated walkways
•
Able to wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves, and a respirator)
Other Information:
•
Voluntary overtime is always available
•
Part of the United Steel Works Union after the probationary period
•
Eligible for a quarterly safety bonus
