Position Description

- Responsible for setting up and operating offset presses and other machines for the printing of materials that require colored inks and a wide variety of paper stocks/weights.

Essential Job Tasks:

- Utilizes knowledge of printing processes, layouts, and ink colors to produce quality offset press work.

- Provides input to other corporate services employees relating to technical and ink color requirements/capabilities for various jobs.

- Operates all other equipment in the print shop such as printing presses, high speed copier/printers and finishing equipment dependent on workload and schedule requirements.

- Reports levels of material needed to maintain print shop equipment and stock levels.

Position Requirements

- High School Diploma/or GED +2 years directly related experience or Associate's Degree +1 year of directly related experience required.

- Must have the ability to set up and operate single color through 4 color offset presses.

- Must understand press chemistry levels and mechanical settings.

- Must have ability to work with people and provide suggestions for effectively producing a quality product.

Compensation Information

$21.55 - $26.90 (min.-mid.)
