Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The Office Clerk will be responsible for handling various clerical tasks, managing front desk responsibilities, and supporting office management activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and directing calls appropriately
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using outlook and excel
- Handle filing, document proofreading, and general office organization to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with calendar management and scheduling truck appointments and truck loads
- Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, ensuring a positive experience for clients and visitors
- Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement as needed
- Assist with special projects or additional duties as assigned by management
- Experience in an office environment with clerical or administrative responsibilities is beneficial and we will train those that would like to pursue this career.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Personal assistant or office management experience is beneficial but not mandatory
